Every
TAPs event produced by the ieet is the result of considerable
research and development. We not only consider the
direction and outcomes expected, we even consider
ways to make our work sustainable. This includes time
taken searching for resources that offer the highest
return in quality for the lowest expenditure. Not
every project is the same, but we do see an average
per child cost and that's what we of the ieet are
constantly looking to find (see
Cost
of service).
The unique educational experience we know makes great
impact on all participants and we know not every school
or home is in a position to provide to the level we
can. Whilst engaging and challenging, every child
participant gains insight to a number of technical
subjects making them able to follow through or duplicate
at leisure.
Depending on the subject itself, a child can on completion
of one level, move to another. This method natural
in all schools and forms the basis of a sustained training
program. With this in mind, the ieets programs have
strong focus on ICT, ECT and DT to ensure the strongest
attention to detail is also the best form of teaching.
More importantly, we know this is perhaps the only
chance these children have to 'switch on' to the technologies
of the future and the value they have for any worth
while employment.
