Delivering TAPs |
The
ieet uses a number of key delivery modules:-
* In school programs.
* Inter-school programs.
* Saturday schools.
* Holiday projects.
* Distance learning.
* ICT, ECT or DT INSETs.
The modules are ieet researched, developed and delivered
by people who are skilled and enthusiastic, and have
considerable expertise across a wide band of subjects.
The content of many of the modules are based on that
which is, or could be taught in school. Each has the
flexibility of time to develop a theme-idea-interest
in order to capitalize upon the enthusiasm, interest
and skill of the student.
In school programs are ieet designed tasks
that could be made to integrate alongside normal school
activities or explored independently by the student.
Inter-school programs are ieet programs that
encompass a broader base of student participants. Challenging
as units within themselves, inter-programs run in a
number of variations.
* Inter-student, where students are mixed in with fellows
from differing schools.
* Inter-gender mixing, where no matter what the subject,
all participants enjoy the outcome.
Saturday schools are composed of interesting
workshops that are run for two hours on four consecutive
Saturdays.
The Holiday projects are a variety of activities
theme based and run for the two to four weeks that the
project is run.
The Distance learning units are planned for
the student to work on at home with the help and support
of the family.
INSET's are designed to keep the teacher or
home educator ahead of any technologies curricula.
